Skåningarnas dialekt påverkas av närheten till Danmark

Råå är beläget långt söderut i Sverige i ett landskap som heter Skåne. Skåne har en gång i tiden tillhört Danmark. Därför har skåningarnas språk präglats mycket att danskan. Skånes dialekt är väldigt olika resten av Sverige.

Människorna som bor i Råå säger inte att dem bor i Råå utan på Råå. Detta är för att Råå är en fiskeby och enligt skånsk tradition så heter de att man bor ”på” fiskelägen.

The Skåne dialect is influenced by the proximity to Denmark

Råå is located far south of Sweden in a landscape called Skåne. Skåne one time belonged to Denmark. Therefore the Skåne dialect has many similarities to the Danish language.

The dialect of Skåne is very different to the rest of Sweden.
People who live in Råå are not saying that those living in Råå , they say on Råå. This is to Råå is a fishing village and, according tradition in Skåne that’s what you say when you live in fishing villages.
